He is survived by: his wife Grace Kimbrell Black; his children, Carl Black (Anne) of Fort Mill, SC and Kim Whitman (Steve) of Lake Wateree, SC; and his grandchildren, Jeremy (Allison), Shane (Chelsy), Kyle (Brittany) and Karina. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lake Wateree Baptist Church (5856 River Rd, Ridgeway, SC 29130). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
