He was predeceased by : his father Charles Reid Thelma Boheler of Virginia; and his brother Reid Richardson Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Peake Richardson; and his children, Debi Jay (Randy) of Lugoff, Lee O'Quinn (Kim) of Elgin, Kimberly M. Seel (Bryan) and S. C.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may b e made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Alzheimer's Foundation.
