We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2021, at the age of 90, Dorothy Ileene Benson Robinson of Ridgeway, South Carolina, born in Alva, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James E. Benson and Rose H. Barnes; her husband Floyd Lee Robinson; and her sister Wilma Terril. She is survived by : her children, Ronald Robinson of Freemont, CA and Brenda Brazell of Lexington, SC; her brother Lloyd Benson of Alva, OK; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Rugina Brazell of Columbia, SC, Lance Brazell of Lexington, SC, Julie Newton (Derick) of Charlotte, NC, Jason Stein, Hastin Stein of Freemont, CA and Amanda Kussro (John) of Lexington, SC; and her great grandchildren, Aj'a Sims, Jayde Brazell, Aaralyn Brazell, Preston Kussro and Henry Brazell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

“My name is Susiene. I just heard about Dorothy today.. I met Dorothy a long time ago at Dave and Tammie Smith’s. We became friends and had many long phone conversations, text messages and emails. I know she loved her children and her grandchildren. She always told me of Henry’s many accomplishments and loved the time she spent with him. Now, I understand why she did not return my last texts. I will miss my friend.”
