She was predeceased by: her parents, Erick Jacobs and Essie Jacobs; her husband Thomas K Gwin; her brothers, Rex Jacobs and Bobby Jacobs; her son-in-law James Mitchell, Jr. (Buster); and her in-laws, JT and Annie Mae Gwin.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Gwin Mitchell of Lake Wateree, SC; her grandchildren, Jamie Mitchell of Great Falls, SC and Angela Mitchell of Great Falls, SC; her great grandchildren, Creighton Smith, Emery Talford (Kelton), Hannah Mitchell and Harley Mitchell; her great great grandchild Alora Cove Talford; and her brother-in-law Ralph Gwin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (315 Chester Ave, Great Falls, SC 29055). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
