He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lee and Verda Cavendish Brown; his wife Helen Scragg Brown; his siblings, Ira Phillip Brown and Betty Lou Orme; his daughter-in-law Myriam Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Primo Molinari and Warren Holbert.

He is survived by: his children, Joyce Fowler (Bobby), Robert Brown (Patty Frady), Lana Branham (Ken) and Beverly Cobb (Rhys); his grandchildren, Shannon, Katy, Kristi, Buck and Lizzy; and his siblings, Glen Brown, Ann Holbert and Lucille Molinari. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
