She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Lee Gladden and Janie Evelyn Catledge Gladden; and her daughter Brigman. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Sutherland; her children, Sylvia McDaniel (Wayne) of Strawberry Plains, TN, Billy Sutherland (Helen Gabrail) of Hilton Head, SC and Barry Sutherland (Missy Hendrix) of Great Falls, SC; her grandchildren, Kim Corn (James), Shannon Thompson (Brendan), Tyler McDaniel (Whitney), Madison Mussard (Chase), Carolina Sutherland and Miranda Sutherland; her sister Peggy Pauley of Winnsboro, SC; and her caregivers, Jessica, Holly Reynolds and Holly Banister. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Wateree Baptist Church (5856 River Rd, Ridgeway, SC 29130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Lake Wateree Baptist Church Cemetery (5856 River Rd, Ridgeway, SC 29130).
