With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie Mae Harris (Ridgeway, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Brown, Sr. and Eva Mae Martin Brown. She is survived by: her husband George Harris; her daughter Brittney Sprenger-Wilson (Jordan); her granddaughter Zoe Sprenger-Wilson; and her siblings, Joe Nathan Brown, Sr., Woodrow Brown (Marguerite), Roosevelt Brown, Elliott Brown Jr. (Shelia), Arthur Brown (Juanita), Sandra Lynn Brown, Flora Brown and Thelma Brown. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Rock Hill Baptist Church (1060 State Rd S-28-303, Ridgeway, SC 29130).
