It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anikia Marie Brown of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Anikia Marie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Anikia Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her mother Angela Bolden Richerson. She is survived by: her father Mark E. Cromwell Sr. (Nora); her daughter Aniya Sanders; her stepfather Thomas; her siblings, Ghittonia (Toni) and Mark Jr.; her brother-in-law Rodrick (Chantal); her sister Marlo West; and her brother-in-law Oliver Rue. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home (2528 Bailey Ave, Buffalo, NY 14215).
