She was predeceased by : her parents, Lovick Pierce Miller and Ethel Berley Miller; her husband Harold Bryant "H. B." Alewine; and her brothers, Lovick Pierce Miller, Jr. and Berley L. Miller.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah A. Edwards and Harold B. Alewine, Jr. (Debbie) of Rock Hill; her sister Caroline Miller Fulmer (Vernon Hawkins) of Newberry, SC; her grandsons, Jonathan B. Edwards (Elsa) of Rock Hill and Harold B. "Tripp" Alewine III (Corrie) of Catawba, SC; her great grandchildren, Thomas Edwards, Allis Edwards, Justice Pope, Drew Pope and Tyler Pope; and her great great grandchild Lailanni Pope.
