She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Erwin Ratterree and Annie Kate Jordan Ratterree; her husband Douglas Perry Herlong; and her children, Douglas Perry Herlong, Jr. and Anna Kate Herlong.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia Herlong Howey (Julian), James Augustus Herlong (Meekin) and Sara Everett (Sally) Herlong (Karen); her grandchildren, Spratt Howey (Kristen), Gus Herlong (Charlotte), Will Howey and Anne Herlong; her great grandchildren, Harper Ann Howey, Mary Louise Herlong and Weston Howey; and her friend Howard Kellett.
