We announce the death of Arnold Ferris Small of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 78. Arnold will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Arnold’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Moody Ferris Small and Curtis Hilliard Small; and his son Johnny Ferris Small. He is survived by: his wife Glenda S. Small; and his children, Andrea Patterson (Tony), Tammy Shoup (Bob) and Kurt Small (Amy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Butch's name to West End Baptist Church or ASPCA.
