It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Vinson (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Vinson and Jenny Talley Vinson; his wife Faye Clark Vinson; and his brothers, Ted Vinson, Richard Lee Vinson and Norman Vinson.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Rogers of Rock Hill, Frank Nivens, Jr. (Donna) of Hernando, MS and Diane Vinson (Cecil) of Catawba, SC; and his siblings, Wayne Vinson (Naomi) of Rock Hill, Cecil Vinson (Diane) of Catawba, SC, John W Vinson of Rock Hill, Roy A Vinson of Rock Hill, Henry N. Vinson of Rock Hill, Pearl Turner of Rock Hill and Alice Marie Haynes (Finley) of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charles Vinson's name to Friendship United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1200 Neely Store Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
