Cheryl Ratterree McDaniel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Ratterree McDaniel (Rock Hill, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Ratterree and Eula Ratterree; her sisters, Helen and Lavada; and her husband Jerry McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Thompson (Robert) and Stacy English (Jamie); her grandsons, Tre Thompson, Josh English (Ellen), Noah Thompson, Alex English and Ethan Thompson; and her great grandchildren, KJ Thompson and Kooper Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Catawba Methodist Church (4785 College Rd, Catawba, SC 29704).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Humane Society of York County, or Catawba Methodist Church, PO Box 160, Catawba, SC 29704.
