He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton William Horne and Margaret Virginia Lowe; his wife Dottie Carter; his daughter Christy Horne; his brother John Larry Smith; his former wife Mary E. Baker "Libby"; and his son Timothy L. Horne.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael L. Horne (Lisa) and Charles Horne; his stepchildren, Tim Carter and Kay Carter; his adoptive son Clint Williams; his grandchildren, Candie, Caroline, Bonnie, Chuck, Justin (Caitlin), Wendy (Jordan), Somer, Brandy, Kayla and Matthew; and his friends, Lea-Ann, Randy Bowers and Bill Cole. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
