He is survived by: his wife Martha Ashcraft Mitchell; his sons, Brian Mitchell (Kelly) and Kevin Mitchell; his grandchildren, Wil Blackwelder (Megan), Katie Staub (Dylan) and Cameron Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Grady Blackwelder, Ella Blackwelder, Ben Blackwelder, Madeleine Blackwelder, Henry Staub and Levi Staub.
