David Cantey Caines Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Cantey Caines of Rock Hill, South Carolina, whose life came to an end on September 19, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Caines and Bonnie Caines; and his sister Geraldine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Caines; his children, Jon Caines (Melissa), Amanda Caines (Josh Wright) and Lacey Kashtock (Galen); his grandchildren, Carter Caines, Emmett Caines, Paige Mutz, Felix Kashtock and Linus Kashtock; and his sisters, Sara Almon and Kathy Caines.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in Rock Hill, SC. (144 Caldwell St, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
In lieu of flowers, David would welcome a donation in his honor to Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, York County Choral Society, or Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill.
