She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Harris and Leyburn Brockwell; her former husband J. Hubert Whitton, Jr.; her husband Dr. Floyd Brownley (Mike); her grandson David Whitton Inman; and her brother Col. Leyburn Watts Brockwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Whitton Davis (Eric), Suzanne Corcoran (Jim) and Nancy Babington; her grandchildren, Dr. Bradley Amerson (Alyson), Kevin Amerson (Emily) and Wendy Amerson (Amelia); and her great grandchildren, Judah and Ophelia Amerson. She is also survived by her family and her immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the St. Johns Methodist Church in Rock Hill, SC.
