She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Parsons and Rosa Lee Owens Parsons; her husband Luther Brooks; and her grandson Michael Andrew "Andy" Brooks. She is survived by: her siblings, Bud (Annette) and Susie Roberts; her sons, Michael L Brooks (Iris) and Bobby Ray Brooks (Mary Ann); and her grandchildren, Karen Brooks Greene (Pete), Joshua Brooks (Jessica) and Joel Brooks (Kristen). She is also survived by 6 Great Grandsons, and 4 Great Granddaughters.
Donations may be made to the Old Path Community Church in lieu of flowers in Sappy's memory.
