She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward McClain and Annie Taylor McClain; and her spouses, Perry Eugene Hudspeth and Cecil L. Pruette. She is survived by: her sons, Perry Glenn Hudspeth (Irlanda Sabin) and David E. Hudspeth; her grandchildren, Alyssa Hudspeth, Gracie Jean Hudspeth, Eric Sabin, Daniel Hudspeth (Kara) and Lauren Gregory (Conner); her great grandchildren, Salem, Ezra, Isabella, McClain "Mac", Carson, Banks and Cameron; and her sister Shirley Dunlap.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Park (621 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
