He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Watkins Sr. and Winnie Mae Threadgill Watkins; his daughter Andrea Watkins; and his sisters, Shirley Collins, Rachael Robertson, Patricia Shuler and Betty W. Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Watkins; his son Terry Scroggs; his granddaughter Britny Leal (Esteban); his great grandchildren, Cameron Cole and Ezra Leal; and his brother Gary Watkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grady's memory to Levine Children's Hospital or any child-focused organization, as well as to Caring Season Health of Fort Mill.
