He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Broadwell and William Broadwell; his wife Martha Broadwell of Tabor City; and his sister Clara Cloniger. He is survived by: his children, Sheila B. Cabaniss (late David) of York, Harriett A. Winters (Russell) of Rock Hill and Harry L. Broadwell, II (Mindy) of York; his grandchildren, David Winters (Amanda), Griffin Poulter (Josh), Christian Broadwell (Erica), Rose Bootle (Jacob) and Noah Broadwell; his great grandchildren, Dominic Poulter, Corbin Poulter, Malachi Winters and Fletcher Winters; and his cousin Joann Blackwell of Fort Mill.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Inspiration Baptist Church (1097 McConnells Hwy, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
