She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marvin George and Evelyn Brown George; her son Bruce Marvin Bodiford; her grandson Michael Brady; and her siblings, Howard, Charlie, John, Wayne, Kenneth and Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Hazel Dewey "Ted" Bodiford, Kimberly Sue Garland McHugh (Dan) and Steven Edward Garland (Vivian); her granddaughter Stephanie McHugh; her siblings, Phillip George, JoAnn Bauer and Susan George; and her nephew Catawba Nation. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Catawba Ward (1989 Reservation Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
