He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fox and Eulaila Lamb Fox; his grandson Gunnar Morgan; his nephew Louie Fox; and his siblings, Charles Fox, John Fox, Polly Alexander, Etrulia Fox and Bobby Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Gudrun Kretz Fox; his children, Glenn Fox, Marko Fox (Liz Corbett), Pamela Price and Linda Morgan (David); his grandchildren, Savanna Purcell, Lexi Morgan, Sydney Fox and Eno Fox; and his nieces and nephews, Patsy Johns, Kathy Alexander, Brenda Fox, Don Alexander and Daryl Fox.
Memorials may be made in Mr. Howard F. Fox's name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at their local PO Box 3042, Lancaster, SC 29721.
