She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Leon Reed and Dorothy Barksdale Reed; her husband Harold; her son Walter Randall; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Lynn Hosse Hollingsworth; and her grandsons, Jason and Justin Hollingsworth.

She is survived by : her daughter Elizabeth Hollingsworth of Charlotte, NC; her brother Walter S. Reed of Chattanooga, TN.; and her sister-in-law Sherry A. Reed of Chattanooga, TN..
