He is survived by: his parents, Ginger Honeycutt and Tommy Honeycutt; his wife Corey; his sister Kelly Kiefer (Mike); his aunts, Rita Sims and Nancy Trexler; his uncle Richard Honeycutt (Diane); his parents-in-law, Dana Kimmer (Brian) and Ken Yarbrough (Glendora); and his close friends, Tom Rood and Chris Valant.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (3635 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209).
In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory can be made to Birthright of Charlotte, MiraVia, or St. Ann Catholic Church, 3635 Park Rd., Charlotte.
