He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Garness Sullivan and Daisy Belle Sullivan; and his sister Rev. Billie Glenn. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Sullivan of Rock Hill; and his sons, Dr. Brian Sullivan (Corley) of Daniel Island and Brent Sullivan (Grace) of Rock Hill. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.
