He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther D. Litton and Virginia Orr Litton; and his brother L. Joseph Litton. He is survived by: his children, Louvina Litton (Scotty) and Loren Litton; and his brothers, John Litton (Lynette) and Jerry Litton (Donna). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James's name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Organization.
