We announce the death of Jeff G. Dougherty (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 64. Jeff will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jeff will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jeff will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jeff’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Dougherty and Edith Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Susan Dougherty; his sons, Zachary Dougherty of Greenville and Gabriel Dougherty of York; and his brothers, Terry Dougherty of New Castle, VA, Tim Dougherty (Brenda) of Moneta, VA and Kevin Dougherty of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
