He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey James and Clara James; and his siblings, Bill James, Tony James, Barbara Lowder, Linda Miller and Deborah Small.
He is survived by: his wife Connie James; his children, Christopher James and Jessica Wiley (Jeremy); his brothers, Dewey James and Dennis James; his grandson Kody James (Ashley); and his stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Wiley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bass Cauthen Funeral Home (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (830 N Jones Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
