She was predeceased by: her former husband Donald Nalley; her husband Virgil Dey; and her son Ronnie Stroud. She is survived by: her son Mike Stroud (Angela); her stepsons, Michael Dey (Cindy) and Kenneth Dey (Mayra); her daughter Rhonda James (Steve); and her grandchildren, Steve James (Molly), Daniel James and Amber James.
