We bid farewell to John James Adkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2024 at the age of 78. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Adkins and Florence Adkins; and his brother Thomas Adkins. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; his sons, Jack Adkins (Missy) and Ray Adkins; his grandchildren, Nick Adkins (Heather), April Taylor (Michael), Brandon Adkins (Kimmi) and John Adkins; and his siblings, Margaret Gomes (Stan), Linda Cook (Darryl) and Bill Adkins (Debra).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home & Cremation Center (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
