He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sylvester Van Kirk and Helen Louise Flory of Lisbon, Ohio.; and his siblings, Bill and Mary Louise. He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Van Kirk and Sonia Van Kirk (Millett); his wife Venora; his grandchildren, Gregory (Devin), Terry, DeAnna (Carter), Alana and Mitchell; his great grandchild Colton; Lewis (Linda), Carolyn Keslar (Bill), Rebecca Van Kirk (Hinchcliff) and Rick Van Kirk. He is also survived by dad, and grandpa.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Shield Church (2499 Firetower Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
