He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Miller Becknell and Adeline Moore; his siblings, Robert Becknell Jr. and Julie Curry; his wife Jennifer Becknell; his children, Ryan Becknell of York, SC and Kelsey Barr (Robby) of Pendleton, SC.; his siblings, Walter Becknell of Greensboro and Amy Rose (Kan) of Overland Park; and his aunt Lou Davis of Greenville, N. C.. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 321 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill SC 29730.
