With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Armstrong in Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Armstrong and Josephine Armstrong; and his half-brother Hal Clark. He is survived by: his wife Linda Goodman Armstrong; his son Jeremiah "J. R." Armstrong (Jimmie Lynn); his stepson Bryan Wright; and his grandchildren, Devin Armstrong, Landon Armstrong, Izzy Wright and Fritz Wright. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720).
