It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mac Arthur Wilson of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson and Myrtle Wilson Wilson; his wife Shirley Elaine Gwyn Wilson; and his siblings, Rachel Wilson, Myrtle Virginia Wilson, Troy Wayne Wilson, Roy David Wilson, Eugene Wilson and Larry Junior Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Elane Wilson Drye (Paul), Peggy Renee Wilson Hettig (Tom), James Robert "Robbie" Wilson (Brittany) and Kevin McArthur Wilson (Tina); his grandchildren, Bubba Hesley (Eddie "Doodle" Millikan), Jennifer Hesley (Marissa Cox), Cody Wilson (Taylor Wilson), Madison Wilson (Sawyer Wilson), Tucker Wilson (Grayson Brookner) and Carson Brookner (Brenson Brookner); his great grandchildren, Jordan Hesley, Xane Griffith and Allanah Griffith; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Family Cemetery (1079 Wildlife Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
