He is survived by: his wife Doshia Eva Jones; his daughter Rev. Cynthia Gaston; his siblings, Edward Louis Jones (Rose) and Catherine Jones; his niece Elma M. Shannon of Columbia, SC; his siblings-in-law, Janice Ruth Jones of Rock Hill, SC and Bill Davis (Elise) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Rosalyn Jones (Mario) and Thomas Jones; and his godchildren, Tish McCullough, Shelitha Cole Morton and Jackie Wilson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home of Rock Hill (534 Hampton St, Rock Hill, SC 29730). Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flint Hill Baptist Church (1214 Flint Hill St, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Grandview Memorial Park (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
