She was predeceased by : her husband James LeVerne Oxendine (Jimmy); her son Donny LeVerne Oxendine; her former life partner Leon Locklear; her parents, Edmond Jacobs and MaryLowery Jacobs; and her siblings, Eula Mae Hunt, Betty Lois McGirt (Money), Mary Lee Jacobs, Madgie Locklear, Peggy Oxendine, Johnson Jacobs, Martin Jacobs (Boot), James Jacobs, Marshall Jacobs (Pete), Bobby Jacobs and Billy Jacobs.

She is survived by : her daughter Melinda Oxendine; her parents-in-law, Greg Oxendine (Sheila) of Rock Hill, SC., Mike Oxendine (Leigh Whiting) of Rock Hill, SC., Denise Moore (Rodney) of Rock Hill, SC. and David Oxendine (Kim) of Rock Hill, SC.; and her sister Geraldine Clark of Pembroke, NC.. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
