She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyley Patton and Ruth Mae Self Patton; and her husband Reuben James "Jim" Barrett Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana B. Turner (Kenny Fetty) and Pamela Barnett Slagle; her siblings, Ralph Patton (Billie), Bill Patton (Carol), Ruby Gay, Linda Barker (Ed) and Randall Patton (Lynette); her grandchildren, John Eric Skaryak II (Suzanne), Aaron Seth Turner and Christina Marie Estes; her great grandchildren, Triston Michael Barnett, Laney Nicole Skaryak, Ethan Dale Burris, Sarah Rae Barnett and Dalton Richard Estes; and her caregiver TJ.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A reception was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Marie Barrett Immediately.
