We announce the death of Marion Dean Hodges Crabtree of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Marion will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Howard Hodges and Rubye Henson Hodges; her husband Daniel T. Crabtree; her sister Diana Hodges Moore; and her brother-in-law Gilbert Moore.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Chandler Joseph Norton and Braylin Mitchell Norton; her brother William Howard Hodges, Sr.; her nieces and nephews, William Hodges, Jr., Leeann Hodges May, Carley Hodges Metschke and Robert Shawn Hodges; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlyn Mackenzie Hodges-Wilkes, Joseph Brady Hodges and Robert Brock Hodges.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dean's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
