With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Pope Braden (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on August 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Colon Pope and Georgia Cline Pope; and her daughter Holly Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, Monica Smith (Randy) of Ruidoso Downs, Gil Skar (Ann) of Rock Hill and Eric Skar of Ruidoso Downs; her grandsons, Jason McGee, Tyler Skar and Matthew Blair; her great-niece Susan Starnes (Mack); and her caregiver Bobbie Campbell. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
