The memory of Mary (Carol) W. Henkel of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weller Weller and Mary Weller of Natchitoches, LA; and her brother Bill Weller (Jeanne). She is survived by: her husband Ed Henkel; and her children, Edward Henkel (Mary) of Stuttgart, AR, Ann Eulert (Curtis) of Cañon City, CO, Janet Henkel (Clint Smith) of Tillamook, OR, Mary Morrison (Rob) of Rock Hill, SC and Rachel Spruill (Mitch) of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodland United Methodist Church (801 Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
