With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Ellis (Rock Hill, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hole and June Antrim Hole; her siblings, Lois Visinger and Daryl; her siblings-in-law, Claudia Hole, David Ellis and Gregory Ellis; and her nephews, Daniel Visinger and Michael Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband George A. Ellis Jr.; her stepdaughter Kristen Tisdale (Gary); her sisters-in-law, Karen Ellis and Linda Bates (Scott); and her nieces and nephews, Darci Visinger, Jim Ellis (Dawn), Rebecca Ellis, Craig Bates (Emily), Karie Gessner (Paul) and Eric Bates. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews.
