It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nathan Isaac Rains (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Nathan Isaac may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nathan Isaac touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. S. Rains and Margaret Burrage Rains; his wife Judith Moses Rains; and his sister Deborah Lynn Rains. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Rains (Patricia), Gale Davis (Charlie), Rhonda Collins (Sonny), Ellen Dean and Steve Rains (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Chapel (1330 India Hook Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Rains's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1320 India Hook Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
