Nayda Alicia Vega-Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 87, Nayda Alicia Vega-Smith of Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nayda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eira, David, Dionis and Dilis. She is survived by: her husband Bob; and her sons, Rafael Smith (Melissa), Dionis Smith (Cindy) and Panamanian.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Nayda to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
