Neil leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Neil’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Neil will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Kenneth Winston Ashman Jr, Geneva (Ginny) Ashman Alexander and William (Bill) Alexander; wife: Annette Spears Ashman; daughters: Elizabeth (Philip) Ashman, Sarah Catterson and Rebekah Ashman; son: Robert Ashman; sisters: Debbie Ashman and Marie (Curtis) Hodges; brother: Kevin (Tasha) Alexander; grandchildren: James and Riley Catterson; son-in-law: Daniel Catterson; brother-in-law: Ken L. Spears; and a great niece, numerous niece and nephews along with great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Park Ridge Baptist Church (5099 Trotter Ridge Ct, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
