Richard Edison Garrison Obituary
Richard "Rick" Garrison, 74, of Rock Hill died peacefully at Piedmont Medical Center on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The family will be hosting a visitation at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at First Baptist Church with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. A private burial will be held at Lancaster Memorial Park in Lancaster.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Garrison was a devoted husband to his wife Patricia Hunter Garrison for 40 years before her death in 2014. He was an Engineering Technician at John Deere before retiring in 2015. He truly enjoyed his work and was an exceptional employee. He served faithfully in his church, First Baptist Fort Mill, for many years. He had a quiet, kindly mischief about him and an unassuming way of helping others.
Surviving are his daughter, Mary Beth Garrison of Fort Mill and his brother, David Garrison (Novella) of Union, SC.
