He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland L. Sutton and Amy Louise Sutton Cornwell; and his brother Harold Lynn Sutton of Rock Hill, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Jeter Sutton; his daughter Robbye Sutton Helms (Scott); his grandsons, Drew and Josh; his son Holland "Mack" Sutton (Rosemarie); his grandchildren, Joseph and Holly; his sisters, Martha Chapman (Roger) and Sara Thompson (Randy); and his sister-in-law Faye Sutton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 3191 Passmore Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Friendship Church (1200 Neely Store Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to HOPE of Rock Hill or Friendship Church.
