She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie King Davis and Bratton Davis; her daughter Angela Deese; and her siblings, Ed "Delane" Davis, Wilma Johnson, Ann Marie Hood and Rebecca "Becky" Parks.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Wayne Deese, Sr.; her child Jerry Deese Jr.; her sister Emily Lafave; and her friend Lord. She is also survived by four granddaughters; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rock Hill First Church of the Nazarene (718 N Jones Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
