He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Jameson Alion, Sr. and Minnie Mae Monte Alion; his siblings, Geraldine Gloria Bracey, Daniel Jameson Alion, Jr., Monte Joseph Alion and Douglas Winston Alion; and his daughter Shelley Louise Alion.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Welch of Edgewater, MD; his son Russell Gable Alion, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sarah Alion; his granddaughter Nora; his siblings, Marcheta Cerchio of Naples, FL and Tyrone Power Alion (Katherine Alion) of Rockville, MD; and his close friend Angela Walton of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
His generous contributions to the lives of his family, friends and the Forest Hill Church will be sorely missed.
