She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Edward and Bessie Mae McCraven Key; her husband G. C. "Bud" Underwood; and her siblings, Ann Arledge, John Kee and William Kee.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Underwood of Rock Hill, Donna Abercrombie (Stoney) of Anderson and Kimberly Underwood of Rock Hill; and her brother Richard Kee of Panama City, Florida.. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
